Training opera company Standard Sept National

British Youth Opera helps build the operatic future through an annual programme of workshops, masterclasses and a summer season of two fully staged productions providing performance experience for many of the country's most gifted young people. Although driven by educational goals, the company's artistic standards are exacting and it is for the quality and freshness of its output that the company is known amongst audiences.

Through extended and individually focused training together with performances at major venues, British Youth Opera helps hundreds of talented young singers as well as instrumentalists, conductors, repetiteurs, directors and stage managers at the start of their careers.

A new production from the company which launches many young opera singers on their professional careers is now an eagerly awaited event
